My name is Nigel and thank you for considering me for your special occasion.
My journey to being your celebrant is a fascinating one.
Firstly, I am a musician. I started playing the piano when I was 3 years old, and went on to become the keyboardist for The Stone Roses and OMD.
After many years of making records and touring, I settled in the South West, launched a multimedia company and carried my love of people into coaching, leading a church and conducting weddings and funerals regularly.
My relationship over religion approach saw me assist people from all walks of life, outside of the confines of church, which led to me deciding to become a celebrant, because the possibilities of impacting lives in a positive and memorable way through life events are limitless.

To me weddings and funerals are more than just special occasions, as I feel that they are about making sure that the process is as important as the event, in other words the journey is as important as the destination.
How will I work with you?
For me, working with you starts with listening to you in order to help you to define what you would like to achieve, and even more importantly how you would like to feel during and after the experience.
Funerals
If it is a wedding, then planning, logistics and execution will always be important, and if it is a funeral my desire is that if your loved one could speak they would say that we did them proud.
Although I am the voice and the face, over the past 20 years I have assembled a great team who are experienced in everything from event management through to getting a hot gospel choir.
I can guarantee you that whatever you book me to do, empathy, organisation, humour and life lessons will be at the forefront of my mind.
